Founded by Luisa Amorim and Riccardo Cotarella, ENOSPHERE is a global non-profit association and movement created from a simple but urgent conviction: wine is a living cultural, social and civilizational asset whose voice needs to be strengthened in a rapidly changing world.
Bringing together decision-makers and leading voices from different countries and disciplines, ENOSPHERE creates a space for dialogue, alignment and action around the future of wine culture.

Three days to rethink wine culture in the world, from debate to action.
The ENOSPHERE experience begins in Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city and European Capital of Culture 2027, with time to discover the historic centre before joining fellow guests for dinner in a selection of gourmet and traditional restaurants in the city.

The inaugural ENOSPHERE Symposium opens with keynote addresses, panels and conversations connecting wine with the forces shaping its future - from land, climate and health to culture, leadership, business, philanthropy, gastronomy and hospitality.
Coffee breaks and lunch are designed as dedicated networking moments, creating opportunities to connect directly with speakers, government representatives, industry leaders and fellow guests from around the world.
The day concludes with the ENOSPHERE Black Tie Gala Dinner at Palácio de Cadaval.
The second day turns the conversation towards what comes next - from education, research, policy and human behavior to the stronger collective voice wine culture needs for the future.
The Symposium concludes by bringing together the key ideas and perspectives of the previous two days, defining priorities and next steps for the ENOSPHERE community.
A final call to action: to strengthen, protect and project wine culture into the future.

ENOSPHERE is a global non-profit association founded by Luisa Amorim and Riccardo Cotarella - a movement created to give structure to a global voice for wine culture. Guided by its Founders, Board and Advisory Board, it is committed to independence, intellectual rigour, diversity of human and professional perspectives, and a long-term commitment to land and territories.

Where heritage becomes the setting for dialogue
Walk through a vibrant UNESCO World Heritage city. Évora is one of Portugal’s most beautiful cities, where medieval streets, arcades and whitewashed Alentejo façades, marked by their characteristic yellow bands, carry centuries of history. Roman heritage and university life remain part of the city’s everyday fabric. Évora is the European Capital of Culture 2027 - and, for ENOSPHERE, the place to be.
A city with 2,000 years in view
Évora is a walled medieval city in the heart of the Alentejo, surrounded by montado landscapes and forest. Just over an hour from Lisbon and on the way to Comporta, its Roman foundations, medieval fabric and distinctive architecture make it a timeless cultural crossroads.
Knowledge then and now
The University of Évora traces its origins to the 16th century, continuing a long relationship between the city, knowledge and intellectual life. Today, that legacy makes Évora a natural setting for dialogue, ideas and contemporary cultural debate. It is here that the ENOSPHERE Symposium will take place — in a city where academic tradition, critical thinking and a living university community will help shape the future of wine
A table that tastes of Alentejo
Bread, olive oil, garlic, black pig, wild herbs and mushrooms — Alentejo gastronomy is shaped by the land itself. Açorda, ensopado, cozido de grão, migas and slow-cooked dishes reflect a deeply rooted rural heritage, alongside regional cheeses, traditional cured meats, sericaia and queijadas. Wines made from native grape varieties complete this identity, making the Alentejo one of Portugal’s most distinctive wine regions.
Wine rooted in the land
Across the Alentejo, Portugal’s largest region, wine is culture - a vital rural, tourism and economic asset rooted in land, heritage and community. The region still preserves small vineyard plots planted with native grape varieties such as Antão Vaz, Aragonez, Perrum and Tinta Grossa, to name just a few, and continues the ancient tradition of making wine in talhas, clay vessels that preserve more than two thousand years of winemaking history. Alongside this legacy, a new generation of winemakers is bringing a dynamic and contemporary expression to the region.
A landscape shaped by time
Beyond Évora, dry-farmed vineyards coexist with large olive and almond groves, while sheep, black pigs, horses and cattle graze among cork-oak forests. This mosaic of agriculture, grazing and woodland sustains the montado - one of the world’s 36 biodiversity hotspots and Europe’s largest silvo-pastoral system.
Craft, material and memory
The region’s identity is also carried through its crafts: cork, ceramics, painted furniture, leather, wood and traditional pastoral objects still made by local artisans. In Évora itself, these skills remain part of the city’s cultural fabric.

Cancellations received by 15 November 2026 are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations received between 16 November and 31 December 2026 are eligible for a 50% refund.
